Cingular Go-Phone?
My phone does not work well (I can not even use the number seven!) And I need to buy another. I could upgrade, but I'm not absolutely sure I want to promise you that I will use Cingular for the next two years. I checked the phones on ebay … looking for anyone who uses Cingular service. However, even if the phones I see advertised that they are unlocked I see the different logos on images on the phone … T-Mobile etc. And as advertisers say it will work with any operator, because it's unlocked. I am doubtful. I think I should get one that says Cingular and not just the hope that The unlocked it will work. Nevertheless, prices are not so great that they support both for transport … and you still get a phone used. Someone told me I could go to Wal-Mart and buy a "pay as you go phone cingular" at different prices (All less expensive than those I saw on Ebay) and just put my own sim card in it and it'll work fine. Does anyone know if this is true?
yes it's true, you can use any Cingular phone with any SIM card from Cingular. but if you want to use T-Mobile phone, you have to unlock like how some say on ebay. I recommend sticking with a phone etiquette Cingular as you say so. Also a phone contract may change at pay as you go and pay as you go contract can be changed simply change SIM cards, I did it before!
