THE DECADE disastrous and The New Dawn

The first decade of the new century – from 2000 to 2009 – was horrible in terms of disaster natural and economic tsunamis, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, political controversy and environmental disasters.

Here is a list of major events or developments that make reading austere but had a huge impact on us all. Probably most of them are negative, but also positive progress has been made in science and technology, culture and entertainment.
