I'm in Kentucky and hate. Like Alabama and may move there. Should I, and why? Where would you live
Birmingham, Montgomery, Huntsville, Mobile, Dothan, Gulf: should I switch to one of these areas? What more regions Rural? Would you rather live in Alabama or Kentucky? Please provide answers reflected a little, not a fun of rednecks or Culture of South Alabama Southern culture, which is much better (which, by the way are two separate things.) Kentucky is full of rude, dirty, rude rednecks. In addition, climate, labor market, quality of life, and tax rates are all better than AL KY.
What do you a place to live? Lots of high-technology opportunities? Huntsville and Birmingham. considerable number of things to do? Birmingham. Laid-back, easygoing party town? Mobile. Beach? Fairhope or Gulf shores. Net university towns? Both Tuscaloosa and Auburn / Opelika. If you want natural beauty, then I suggest you the northeastern part of the state. Menton is particularly cool. But the areas around Birmingham and Huntsville are also very picturesque. Cities to avoid? Montgomery … Zero nightlife. If Hyundai were not there, it would be dead, dead dead. Ditto for Gadsden and Selma. three are enough rear seats. Dothan is surprisingly costs.
